Description

Carbon, water, biodiversity: these three interconnected pillars are fundamental to the development and preservation of life on Earth. Ananda Fitzsimmons introduces us to the diversity of ecosystems, natural cycles and major meteorological patterns.

Human activities have deeply destabilised them. “Modern science has just begun to discover that nature is complex and interconnected. But these recent discoveries are not yet integrated in our culture”. We are mistaken if we think that biodiversity and climate are two separate crises.

The many portraits of restoration pioneers already at work around the world give us the proof that “in ten years, we can rehydrate a landscape, rebuild soil health, and revivify native species. Nature knows how to heal if we cooperate with her”.

Ananda invites us to join these champions, and help re-establish a flourishing life on our planet.
